We print the design onto one side of this layer and shows through clearly to the second side as a mirror image. We print the same design onto both outer layers and then sewn back to back. After that, we sandwich the third block out layer between them. We use this method so that you can read text-heavy designs from both sides. These double-sided flags are more than twice as heavy as standard single-layer flags and therefore require a lot more wind to fly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBlockout Interliner\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBlockout Interliner is a third layer of fabric and this layer sewn between two printed sides of a double-sided flag. It negates the ‘show-through’ effect (where the shadow of the design from one layer is visible behind the design on the other layer). This additional layer results in a very heavy flag and is not always 100% effective in certain bright light conditions. Blockout interliner can change the visible shade of white (or other light colour) flags.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe expect our flags to last as well as sewn flags whilst flying much better at lower wind speeds.
