The UK Union Jack Traditional Sewn Flag is manufactured in the UK using durable woven polyester designed specifically for extended outdoor use. Combining traditional sewing techniques with reinforced construction, these sewn Union Jack flags are designed for long-term display and strong outdoor performance.

Each flag is produced using pre-dyed woven polyester together with appliqué printed knitted polyester for more detailed elements within the design. This traditional construction gives the flag a more textured and premium appearance compared to standard printed alternatives.

Designed for Extended Outdoor Display

Traditional sewn flags are among the most durable flag types available and are designed to resist colour fading during long-term outdoor use. Their heavier construction makes them particularly suited to regular flagpole display and exposed outdoor environments.

Because sewn flags are heavier than standard printed flags, they are generally less suited to low wind locations where lighter-weight materials may fly more freely.

Sewn Flag Construction

Unlike digitally printed flags, traditional sewn flags are constructed by stitching together individual sections of fabric. More intricate design elements are created using appliqué printed knitted polyester where required.

This method produces a more traditional appearance while maintaining the durability expected from long-term outdoor flags.

These flags are typically made to order. Customers should normally allow 7–10 days for manufacture and despatch.
